Is Farmhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast open year round?
Yes. We are open year round. Our peak season is May-October and reservations are highly recommended. Our off seasonal rates start mid-November until April 30.
What amenities are available for accommodations?
We aim to provide a home away from home for our guests. We offer a number of guestroom options, each featuring comfortable beds with luxurious linens, fresh towels, wireless high-speed Internet, televisions, air conditioning with access to coffee/tea stations and refrigerators. We are certain you will be impressed and comfortable.
What are the dining options on property?
Our Bed and Breakfast is located close to several restaurants. Two restaurants are within walking distance called Dickie Baxter’s Taproom and Bistro and ArtCan Café and many others minutes away by car. If you are looking for fine dining or a lobster roll by the Fundy shore check out the Lobster Pound at Halls Harbour. These restaurants highlight all locally sourced food, mouthwatering seafood entrées will introduce you to the unique and wonderful flavors of our local region.
Do you have on-site parking?
Yes. Our beautiful Farmhouse has ample free parking for guests.
Is the Bed and Breakfast pet friendly?
Yes. We’re most definitely pet friendly! We consider pets our guests too, and our facility is ideal for mountain hikes or beach strolls with your four legged friend(s). Only 2 of our rooms are available as a pet accommodations option and they are located in our carriage house (separate from the main house) – check with us for availability. We do apply a pet cleaning fee of $25.
Do you have smoking rooms?
At the Farmhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast we do not permit smoking in any of our guestrooms, or common areas in any of our buildings. Our farmhouse has several dedicated outdoor locations for smoking; however, smoking in our buildings may hold penalty fees for guests.
Do you provide cribs, cots or rollaway beds?
We can accommodate 18 people in the Inn however we are not able to provide cots or rollaway beds. However for the convenience of smaller children we can offer a playpen (based on availability).
What is the minimum age to rent a room?
Ensuring both safety and enjoyment for all of our guests is very important to us. At the Farmhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast we require an adult of at least 18 years of age to book a room; however, some exceptions may be considered by management. Please contact us for details.
What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in is 3 PM to 6 PM and checkout is 11 AM; however, we offer early check-in and late checkout times (based on availability).
Do you allow late checkouts?
Check-in is available between 3 PM and 6PM or by prior arrangement. Please advise us in advance if you will be arriving after 6 PM, as self-check-in arrangements will need to be made. Check-out time is 11 AM or by prior arrangement.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to your arrival date will incur the full charge of reservation unless we are able to re-book the room. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation dates, you will be responsible for the original room nights booked for your intended stay unless we are able to re-book the room on your behalf.
What method of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac debit, and cash.
Do you have Internet access?
Yes. We’re very pleased to advise we have upgraded our wireless internet access and fibre optic Internet is now offered free as an added value to our guests.
Do you have flat screen TVs?
Yes. Each of our rooms features a flat screen television.
Do you have accessible rooms for wheelchairs?
We offer guests with limited mobility or disabilities a room on our main-floor with no stairs. Some wheelchairs may have difficulties fitting in the door and bathroom, however if you do have a walker or cane, it is accessible.
Do you have on-site laundry facilities?
We offer on-site laundry services at $15 per load. Please let us know in advance.
Are breakfasts included in my room rate?
Yes, we serve our traditional Farmhouse Inn three-course breakfast in which our guests rave about! All our breakfasts are homemade in our kitchen, using fresh locally grown produce and the famous local “Village Meat Market” fresh meats.
Do you accommodate food allergies and restrictions?
We do understand that with dietary restrictions, lifestyle choices, and allergies, adaptations or substitutions may be needed. Please communicate any allergies when making your reservations for your stay. Please note that we can offer a gluten free option.
